I was entrusted with the significant task of creating a new design system for Samsung's global website. My role was central to the comprehensive redesign of Samsung.com, aiming to modernize and unify the website experience across the company's diverse markets and business sectors.
My work focused primarily on developing page layouts and templates for a range of uses, including marketing landing pages and homepages. I dedicated myself to crafting designs that aligned with Samsung's brand identity while enhancing the user experience across different website sections. Through strategic layout planning, my objective was to integrate marketing messages seamlessly, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presentation.
I also took on the responsibility of designing and testing a new global navigation for Samsung.com. Utilizing high-fidelity prototypes, I painstakingly crafted and refined the navigation structure to enhance the user experience and ensure intuitive website interaction. Through a series of rigorous testing phases, I fine-tuned the navigation to seamlessly align with Samsung's brand identity and optimize usability. My direct involvement in both the design and testing phases underscored my commitment to delivering a user-friendly and visually cohesive global navigation system for the website.
The challenge of crafting product cards was particularly unique due to the wide array of product types featured on Samsung.com. Achieving a balance between providing extensive product information and maintaining a unified, visually coherent design required a nuanced approach. I addressed the complexities of harmonizing diverse content within a consistent and engaging format.
