Samsung.com faced the challenge of needing a unified, modernized web presence that could serve diverse markets and business sectors worldwide. Our solution was a comprehensive redesign that included creating a cohesive design system, refining global navigation, and optimizing product presentation. These updates significantly improved the user experience and reinforced Samsung’s brand identity across its global digital platform.

As a Senior Designer, I played a central role in this transformation. I developed the new design system, ensuring consistency across various site sections, and crafted intuitive page layouts that aligned with Samsung’s brand. I also designed and tested a new global navigation structure, enhancing usability and creating a seamless, visually cohesive experience for users around the world.

My work focused primarily on developing page layouts and templates for a range of uses, including marketing landing pages and homepages. I dedicated myself to crafting designs that aligned with Samsung's brand identity while enhancing the user experience across different website sections. Through strategic layout planning, my objective was to integrate marketing messages seamlessly, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing presentation.

One of my significant contributions to this endeavor was establishing a cohesive design system for Samsung.com. This task required the meticulous development of reusable elements such as buttons, components, and icons. By creating a uniform visual language, this design system not only made collaboration within the team more efficient but also provided a foundation for scalability and adaptability across the website's varied sections. The result was a streamlined and harmonized user interface that significantly improved Samsung's global digital presence.

I also took on the responsibility of designing and testing a new global navigation for Samsung.com. Utilizing high-fidelity prototypes, I painstakingly crafted and refined the navigation structure to enhance the user experience and ensure intuitive website interaction. Through a series of rigorous testing phases, I fine-tuned the navigation to seamlessly align with Samsung's brand identity and optimize usability. My direct involvement in both the design and testing phases underscored my commitment to delivering a user-friendly and visually cohesive global navigation system for the website.

The challenge of crafting product cards was particularly unique due to the wide array of product types featured on Samsung.com. Achieving a balance between providing extensive product information and maintaining a unified, visually coherent design required a nuanced approach. I addressed the complexities of harmonizing diverse content within a consistent and engaging format.
